Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have in-person sessions?

I am only doing telehealth at this time. There is a future plan for hybrid in-person and telehealth visits.

Do you do academic or neuropsychological testing?

I currently do not offer testing services. I am happy to coordinate with any providers that are conducting the testing to give a summary of psychological treatment with me.

I live in a state or I am traveling to a state that is not on the list of participating states for telehealth (PSYPACT). Can you still do therapy even if I am paying out of pocket?

Unfortunately, I cannot do therapy across state lines with an individual in a non-participating state. I can lose my license since the state not participating has strict laws regarding telehealth sessions.

Will you speak to my physician, surgeon, school staff member, and/or other provider?

Absolutely. I have you fill out a release of information to allow me to contact the provider and coordinate care. I only share information that we agree upon before contacting the provider.

Do you fill out paperwork or write letters for for school, work, or other concerns?

I only fill out paperwork or write letters if I have seen you or your child for at least three sessions and have a plan for continued care. I am only able to write information that is covered by my care in therapy.

Do you write letters for emotional support animals?

I do not write letters for emotional support animals as I cannot vouch for the animal and could lose my license if there are any incidents.
