About
Christina Rouse, Psy.D.
I am a pediatric psychologist with experience in hospital settings. I work alongside medical teams to provide care to children, adolescents, and young adults with chronic health conditions. In my practice, I frequently connect with the medical teams of my clients to advocate for their care. I have training in cognitive behavioral techniques, parent behavior training, and medically-based therapy (adherence, preparation for surgery/procedures, adjustment to new medical diagnoses).
Majority of my medical training and experience is with urology. My expertise includes: urological bladder conditions (including bladder and cloacal exstrophy), spina bifida, caudal regression/sacral agenesis, differences of sexual development, epispadias/hypospadias, day and nighttime incontinence, and any concerns related to the bladder.
I also have experience with the following: lupus nephritis, epilepsy, diabetes/endocrinology, cardiac concerns, gastrointestinal conditions, and gender transition. If the condition of you or your child is not listed, I am open to learning about the concerns and/or diagnos(es) and determine if therapy can be helpful.
